Job description: SDETLocation: Remote / HybridLocation- prefer Minneapolis, MN2nd option for location- Brookfield, Denver or Dallas, TXWe are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our QA and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong development background combined with deep experience in test automation across UI, API, and backend systems. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems.Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.Perform UI test automation using Playwright (preferred) or Selenium.Develop API test automation using Karate, Postman, and related tools, with strong Java coding skills.Build backend automation using Karate, Python, and Java, ensuring data validation and integration coverage.Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical design discussions, and enforce quality standards.Execute tests, debug failures, and work closely with developers to resolve issues quickly. Required Skills & ExperienceSDET expertise with strong proficiency in Java (must-have).UI Automation: Playwright (preferred) or Selenium.API Automation: Karate, API testing, REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, Postman.Backend Automation: Karate, Python, Java, SQL/NoSQL DB validation.Experience designing test automation frameworks from scratch.Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or similar tools.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and modern QA best practices.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
