Client: Best BuyIntroductionThe Data Transport Platforms & Enablement team is responsible for building and supporting multi-origin, highly scalable, and secure event streaming, data transfer, and messaging technology solutions. Our work involves installation, configuration, monitoring, and operations of these messaging systems using automation scripts and Cloud Native APIs. These solutions are vital for various critical applications across the organization.Project DescriptionThe Data Transport Team provides Middleware and Integration services to numerous application teams. This role involves working on intake requests for creating integrations between applications and supporting existing technology infrastructure or setting up new ones.Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in performing engineering tasks related to installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of infrastructure and technology platforms such as IBM MQ and IBM ACE.
- 3 years of experience in installing and configuring large-scale systems On-Prem or on Cloud (AWS) across distributed OS platforms like RedHat Linux, Amazon Linux, using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- 2 years of experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Chef, Ansible Terraform, Vagrant, and Test-Kitchen.
- Experience with AWS Amazon MQ (Active MQ or Rabbit MQ) and AWS SQS/SNS is preferred.
Additional Skills
- Experience with AWS Cloud and Infrastructure as a Code.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for platform support.
