- The Software Test Engineer will support UCC’s ever increasing electromechanical medical device portfolio that includes software/embedded systems.
- Focus on testing during design, V&V, and post release investigations for UCC products with software.
- Analyze requirements, develop & run manual test cases for software V&V.
- XXgn and develop automated tests using Python/LabVIEW or other relevant programming languages and frameworks.
- Work closely with software developers and other cross-functional teams in understanding the applications and systems to test effectively.
- Identify defects to improve software quality and assist software developers in resolving them.
- Perform all V&V related documentation.
- Participates in bug/defect risk mitigation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related technical field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of software testing.
- Experience in developing automated test cases.
- Proficiency in languages like Python/LabVIEW/C#.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in an FDA regulated environment.
- Experience with embedded systems.
- Familiar with Microsoft Azure DevOps.
Expected salary: $45 – 50 per hour
