As a Software Tools Dev Engineer located in Torrance, CA, you will develop and implement tools to support analysis of GNSS StarFire receivers. Additionally, this role will:Job Description
- Support and implement test automation features for the software test team.
- Diagnose and solve software defects.
- Analyze issues in a systematic, persistent, and thorough manner.
- Execute and support software engineering test and verification assignments for GNSS StarFire receivers
- Understand GNSS concepts and fundamentals, contributing through tools development and automation work assignments.
- Provide daily assistance and guidance to the team on work assignments, which may include working with non-technical team members to understand software issues.
Job Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience with C#, C/C++
- 2 or more years of experience in the software development life cycle
- 2 or more years of experience in test execution and reporting/tracking software defects
- 2 or more years of experience with GitHub
- 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong software analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve and convey complex features/issues to engineers in other disciplines
